Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share. My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this? It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time. And mostly, I can. I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂 But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below! Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.
Nagi I would love a recipe for Matcha green tea sponge cake – maybe something for your mum to whip up for her blog?
NAGI I HAD ANOTHER IDEA!!! Have you ever thought about doing Hainan chicken (whole) or Hainan chicken rice? I LOOOOVEEE that stuff ugh. Thanks again!
IT’S ON THE LIST!!! It’s been on the list for ages, I just need to get off my bum and do it!! 😂
Hi Nagi! Whenever I’m doing a recipe search online and see one of yours, I know I need to look no further! Your food is amazing! I’ve just made your Massaman Curry and it was the best I’ve ever made, thank you! Wondering if you might have a recipe for a vegetable korma please? My sons girlfriend is vegetarian and I’m trying to find some recipes that would suit her and not disappoint my meat-loving family 🤔. Thank you so much and keep up the fabulous work!
Thanks for the kind words Bobbie! Korma is on the list 🙂 It’ll be easy to convert into vegetable! N xx
Hi Nagi
Do You have a video/recipe on how to make your own pasta? Would love to give it a try and every recipe of yours that I have tried… and there’s been many, have been fantastic. There seems to be so many different opinions about ingredients on the internet that it all seems a bit hard, you make it easy 💕
Not yet! But I will one day, I promise. That plus pizza are high on my list, they are just “big ones” and I’m recovering from some epic recipe efforts of late, wanting to take it a bit easy for a bit! 😂
Hi Nagi! Do you have any recipes up your sleeve for homemade sausages?
Hi Nagi, I’d love to request a CHOCOLATE MOUSSE!! I’ve tried a few different recipes – some have been good, some haven’t set quite right and some are too sweet so I’d love a full proof recipe from you! Thank you 🙂
OMG OMG you read my MIND!!! I have had that written on my whiteboard for weeks 🙂 I’m on it!! N xx
I CANT WAIT!!!
Also had another request – possibly a lamb tagine? Thank you!!
Thai green curry. A no-fail carbonara (without cream). Any of your one-pan dishes are also greatly appreciated!
Ahhh both of those are already on my list! 🙂 Taking a curry break for a while though, so green curry will come later this year! N xx
Green curry with fish please!
Oooh! Green curry sauce is definitely on my list! 🙂
Nagi, I would love to know if you ever used a pressure cooker (I have an Instant Pot and love it, makes meal prep every week so much easier), and if so, would you publish recipes for it? I’m happy to convert things myself (e.g. stews, soup, meats) but just curious.
Hi Seraphina! Most of my slow cooking recipes have pressure cooker directions too 🙂 We don’t have IPs here in Australia but we have ha our own brand of IPs for many years here which has the same key functions – sauté, slow and pressure cooker. So if you check the notes of slow cooker / stove slow cooking recipes, there should be pressure cooker directions in most. If not, just leave me a message on that recipe and I’ll pop into the notes and add the directions! N x
Hi Nagi, I would like to request a good rice pudding recipe. My husband loves rice pudding but I haven’t been able to make a good one yet.
Oooh YES! Thank you for asking for that!!
Hi Nagi,
There are a few recipes I’ve tried to copy, but failed;
Sticky Rice in lotus leaf, with pork & meats, not the 1 with the egg in it.
Deep fried Shrimp Dumplings with Mayo. I know it’s a shrimp paste, but still can’t get the snap u get when u bite into it at Dim Sum restaurants.
Chicken Korma. I’ve tried 2 recipes & not even close to restaurant quality.
Dal Makhani. i even bought a pressure cooker but failed badly.
I’ve tried 30+ of ur recipes & have never been disappointed. U are a phenomenal cook.
PSS. Ur Chinese Chicken Satay changed my life! My family is addicted to it so badly, I have to triple the recipe & we all STILL bicker over amount. I make it weekly & don’t even need chicken or rice. We will drink that gorgeous sauce greedily!!

No knead bread and an easy homemade pizza dough recipe please! Thanks!
Oh Nagi Cabbage rolls..a European or Russian kind would be fantastic 🤞
What about some Canadian made treats!! Poutine is delicious as well as Nanaimo Bars!!!
Poutine has been on my personal list for years!!
Are you able to purchase cheese curds in Australia? Here in Canada curds are sold in pretty much all grocery stores.
Hi Nagi,
I’ve tried some of your recipes (wish have more time to try all 🙂 )
I love most of them !
However I never see you upload any recipe using duck. Would you give some trick to make Pecking Duck or other Duck recipe ?
Ta !
Dewi
Hi Dewi! I actually shot a couple last year but I just wasn’t happy with the sauces! Peking duck is unfortunately out of my reach I think. I’ve tried and tried but it seems to be a general consensus that it’s not possible! N x
Hi Nagi – I didn’t see a recipe for Panang Curry with Chicken. I’ve tried several, but none of them taste like what we get here at the Thai restaurants in the US. Would be great if you could share this on the site. Have a great week and big hug to Dozer!
I want to second this Panang Curry with Chicken request! I’ve found a recipe that looks promising out in the wild, but I’ve LOVED your recipes – every single one – and would love your take on it before I delve into uncharted [for me] waters!
You’ve made so many lovely flavoured rice recipes, which is great as it’s stopped my partner buying Uncle Ben’s micro packets which are pricey/full of preserves/full of salt etc. Except for one flavour, tomato and basil rice! So yeah, that would be awesome.
And I know you’ve done plenty of meatball recipes, but some sort of polpette al forno with all the pasta and sauce baked with the meatballs too. So good. I better go before I request the world.
Oooh! YES I will do that, I love the thought of that! The Mexican Red Rice is the perfect base, just need to figure out the best way to add basil flavour! As for polpette al forno pasta bake – YES!! 🙌🏻 I think that one better happen sooner rather than later…. N xx
Homemade Spam, please!
Wooooah! Never thought of trying that!!
Hey Nagi,
Today I visited a beautiful Japanese restaurant which served up the best ever ramen in a fish stock – it was just DIVINE. I would LOVE to know how to make this! I know your mum does have a ramen recipe but I think it’s a ready made stock.
Loving your recipes as always X
Hi. This is Yumiko, Nagi’s mother here. Thanks for the request. I tried ramen in a fish stock using snapper in Japan. It was amazing. I have a couple of requests for Rame stock already and this has to be added to my to do list as well.
Hi Yumiko,
Thank you so much for your reply! I have signed up for your receipes a while ago now so already receive them. Looking forward to this one for sure!!
